New to Site ! My question is : What is the difference in the front wheel for a Goldwing 1800 and a F6B other than color ? I'm in the market for an additional front wheel for my F6B . I read different part numbers , different years , different bearings . Can one of you gentlemen / ladies help me understand any differences .
Thanks ,
Zyxt

Re: Front wheel dilemma
From 2001-17, all wheels are interchangeable. Below are the differences that I know of.
- some have different finishes ... color, clear coat
- some have TMPS sensors, some have standard valve stems

Re: Front wheel dilemma
I have a buddy who has both Gl1800 and F6B and he said that he believes there is no difference except he said the tab for the valve stem. If you do change wheels and tires be sure to replace the rubber valve stem to steel.
It's not what you buy, it's what you build.

Re: Front wheel dilemma
I have done it on my '02 -
I purchase BLACK F6B and BLACK Goldwing wheels for my Wing (I have 2 sets Front & Rear)
And SOLD the aluminum versions -
TPMS isn't a thing on my '02 so the wheels WITH the TPMS still work...just not the system .. (who cares)
I outfit ALL me wheels with metal valve stems similar to the TPMS -

Re: Front wheel dilemma
Thanks guys ! I finally found a dealership that verified your answers. Part numbers do mean color variances . ONLY .
Thanks again for your help and knowledge.
