Lower Tail lights

Post by aljumps »

Is there a straight forward way to add the lower tail lights to my 2010 GL1800. I've pulled the lights off and it looks as though there is a blank where the globe should go. Or I am suspecting I'll need to get a new Lower indicator/ tail light set but if thats the case is the wiring harness plug and play?

Sorry ... your question is not making sense to me. Can you ask it again in a different way, or state how yours are working and how you'd like them to work ???

the poster is from Australia, they have different lighting laws than we have in America. His bike might not have came with lower lights, just reflectors.

@joeincalif and @GoldWingrGreg. Yes the lower (red) lens on the saddlebags in the 2010 are simply reflectors with the clear lens the indicators. I dont think there are any extant lighting laws precluding their addition.

@GWrider2016 Thanks but that's not quite what I'm after.

Ideally I'd like to add the brake/tail light or at least the tail light.
