Hello. Im new to the forum. I just picked up a 2008 Goldwing. 1800GL.
I want to replace the plugs. Can anyone lead me to a good replacement, with the part number? I heard NGK iridiums were good.
Thanks,
Chas

The best plugs are the NGKs that Honda says to use. I buy mine from Honda and they come in a Honda box. Most buy over the counter NGKs.
BKR6E-11 are the ones you will want.

As Greg says, buy them from the Honda Dealer, or even from an auto parts store if you prefer.
There are many reports of counterfeit NGK plugs sold on the internet.
The plugs are only a little over $3 from the dealer.
Standard BKR6E-11 NGK plugs are perfect. No real reason to use the Iridium plugs unless you just like to spend money.

I get mine at Advance auto. I signed up with them and get 20% emails all the time so theyre cheaper than Honda. We also have a chain of stores here called Farm and Fleet and they have the plugs priced reasonably besides having a lot of great cleaning products for bikes also. I tried the Iridiums and for the cost I really cant see that much difference in performance and gas mileage. And the Iridiums dont seem to last as long in a wing as a in a car.
