Turn signal light in dash

Post by EricHalifax »

Good day all,

The right turn signal light is always "on" in my dash. All signals work properly including 4-ways.

Any idea what is causing this light to stay on all the time?

Thanks :)

It is likely a ground issue. Somehow that bulb is getting grounded out, but it could be in the left handlebar switch, or the bulb socket or something like that. I would start with CSC plastic safe electronics cleaner and spray the heck out of your left controls while working them, as the easiest and quickest thing to try first. Lots of rags under it to keep the dripping fluid off the rest of the bike.
It ain't about the destination - it's all about the journey

Sounds like that bulb is getting stray power from one of the other bulbs on that side not having a good ground. Check the connectors under the fairing pockets for corrosion.
