Won't Start in Gear
2005 Gl1800, kickstand up, clutch lever in. Can only be started in neutral. Gotta be a simple answer. 130k. Thanks in advance for your responses.

Do you have aftermarket hand grips. These are larger than original and you may have to squeeze harder.

Had same issue, tho I didn’t know about starter working in neutral as I found that out when fixing. Changed both relays behind left saddle bag, now starts in gear.
