My throttle tube arrived today. Can anyone advise which cable goes into which fitting on the throttle tube ? As per pic the way I have it seems
to "feel" right, but one of the cables keeps popping out and I can only rev the bike to 4000 RPM's ( with both cables in) -so obviously something is awry.
Cheers

Re: Attaching throttle cables to cable tube
Start by tightening back down your cable nuts. They do not need to be loose. When done, the white circle currently being at about 10:30 position will be more at an 8:00 position. The pull cable needs to go where you have the other one. Once you get the pull cable in the correct hole, the other cable, the neutral cable, wraps around the back side, or the front side in this case, and slips into the lower slot.
Had you loosened the lower barrel nut to get that much slack ???

Re: Attaching throttle cables to cable tube
Before you take the cables off the throttle tube, you should of put a mark on the ball for the pull cable and left the return cable without a mark. Then all you have to remember is what the mark was for.
It ain't the destination but the getting there. You are not lost until you run out of gas.
