LED Turn Signal Bulbs.
I have read several times where guys have swapped out their turn signal bulbs for LEDs. I understand that there is better lighting from the HD LEDs and the draw is about 1.5 watts verses 20 watts when activated. But, in doing this swap, I understand that a different flasher needs to be installed or resistors installed inline in the circuit of each bulb. Now, I'm wondering if or how much savings in wattage is gained if adding resistors because they also will draw power. And do the new Flasher draw more or are they designed to operate with less draw of the LEDs. I'd like to think there is a savings in power draw over all when switching to LEDs. Also the added benefit would be longer life of the bulbs. Anyone know the answers.
It ain't the destination but the getting there. You are not lost until you run out of gas.

Re: LED Turn Signal Bulbs.
Swapping out to LED's without installing a different flasher relay causes the signals to flash rapidly.
I used Socalmotorgear for my conversion LED's. They are very helpful and may be able to answer your
power draw questions.
