My 2006 wing has Rev light on and won't start.
My 06 wing has the rev light on with key on. Will not turn over. Nutral light had to get. By wiggling shifter can get the green light but have to hold pressure on shifter. Does not matter if clutch is in or not. If I get the green on and apply the starter switch I get a click. Please help.??

make sure the tranny is in Neutral, side stand up.
then sitting on the bike, rock it back and forwards, and press the button just once.
it should unlock and then the engine will start.

Are your battery connections clean and tight. Has the battery been tested. I'm wondering if you have a low voltage situation.

Remove the right side engine cover and carefully pull the little rubber boot off of the reverse switch on the side of the block. Make sure the wire lug is snug on the stud. This is the reverse switch and it’s grounded when the internal reverse parts are in the neutral position. Be careful, the stud is brass and is easily broken. If it’s tight, then pull off the seat and look at the relay bank cover. Pull it off and remove and reseat all of the relays labeled “reverse” then try the key again. If this doesn’t get it, your reverse actuator may be defective and will need to be replaced. If you have the Honda Service manual, there’s a procedure to test the actuator.

Thanks to all, replaced battery and had to jump the neutral switch to ground.
