Preload how to

Post by Kwest364 »

Is there a proper way to adjust the preload?
Always in neutral, but I've done it:
1. Bike running, sitting on bike
2. Bike running, on center stand

Either way make a difference? Probably not, but curious.

RTFM ;)
This is covered in the manual. It should be on the center stand, as this makes it easier on the system.

If you don't have a manual, you should get one. It will answer lots of questions.

I just recently checked the oil level in the preload and it was low...didn't start to really actuate until about 10 or 12....added oil to the system and now it starts at 1...easy thing to take care of!!
