Relay for speedometer
How do I tell which relay is bad. And will the ones that selling here will they work for each relay. The fl light comes on dealer told me had to replace the computer (600.00) to replace. How do I check to see what is making it come on. This is a 2003 trike 1800

Re: Relay for speedometer
First off, I don't recall ever hearing that a bad relays making an FI light come on. As for types of relays, our Wing has several that are used.
As for finding out what causes an FI light to come on, there is a procedure in the Service Manual how to pull DTC (digital trouble codes) from it. Did the dealer tell you what DTC code they are fixing ??? Also, other then an FI light coming out do you have any symptoms like poor running and engine wanting to die ???

Re: Relay for speedometer
You should retrieve the trouble codes. How easy that is depends on your trike conversion as it requires use of the side stand switch.
