Loose Windshield on 2015 Wing
My windshield is very loose. The clamp levers do not lock the windscreen in place. Is there an adjustment, or video available to show how the clamp mechanism is installed, or how it is supposed to function? Newd help!! See attached video.

That's an image. You can't directly attach a video to your post; it simply takes far too much disk space for us to host videos. But if you upload it to YouTube, you can link to it here.

There are pads that push down against the shield holding it in place...Mine were loose a few years back, I epoxied rubber strips onto the pads and WA-LA
nice and tight now.

Re: Loose Windshield on 2015 Wing
Mine wasn't loose, but the non-stick strips were all coming off and sliding around due to old degrading adhesive.
I replaced them with the soft half of velcro strips, just in a few short places, and it made the windshield much, much tighter.
I didn't *want* that necessarily, because it puts a little more strain on the levers and the screws that hold them in place, but it might help you.

Re: Loose Windshield on 2015 Wing
Had the same problem on 2001 1800 gls. Went to home depot and got a packet of the cloth furniture sliders and put them under the windshield where the used to be spacers actor a little adjusting it is now tight and no longer slides down. My original windshield got so scratched and oxidized that I couldn't see through it and bought a replacement with a vent I think it's thinner than the original and that's what caused it to start slipping down on the road. It was really annoying. With the felt furniture pads it stays put.
