does anyone know if honda prewired the back wires for the back speakers? mine did not come with speakers. want to do it myslef, but can anyone tell me if they were prewired from the factory, and if so, where would they be located? also, what would be a direct fit for front and rear speakers that are better than the stock honda speakers? thank you guys for and help you can give me

I am pretty sure that only the SE model had the wires for the speakers. The Interstate and Aspencade had to have the wire harness added by the after aftermarket installation kit. Big Bike Parts and Parts Unlimited sold the kits.

2001-05s didn't come from the factory with rear speakers. They were one of 55 Hondaline accessories that can be added later.
