steering head bearings replacement

Post by Scubamedicjoe »

So I got all ball tapered bearing, seals, ect my question is actually involved removing and reinstalling them found out motion pro has discontinued their tool, so what size of driver and remover should I be looking for?
I am also going to change to
Progressive Lowered Monotube Cartridge Kit

since it is off already, thanks

There are a few different ways to get them out and back in. I used a chisel with a slight bend and ground tip to fit in the small lip and made my own press. Do a search in the 1800 section and you'll find many ways. It is very similar to the 1500.
It's not what you buy, it's what you build.
