sena freewire & 10s

Post by bfuller9999 »

I have a 2006 goldwing and purchased the Sena Freewire unit. I also purchased the Sena 10s Helmet unit. I receive the radio, nav, and the CB with no problem. But, I cant transmit out on the CB. No problem with the CB as it works fine when hard wired. Others can hear that I have keyed the mike but no audio. Trust me, the Sena help line is of little use. Hope I may get some feedback if you have had the same problem or know a fix for it.
Thanks....

I am running Freewire with SRL (which is supposed to be same as a 20) so may be different than your 10.

This may work. Clear all Bluetooth pairings. Plug both into a USB port and ensure you have latest configuration. Pair the Freewire to your headset as first phone. Not sure if the 10 supports two phones but Freewire needs to be paired as phone for CB to work and first phone on my SRL.

I was having a problem with my 30K headset where the unit would'nt multi-task like they said. Ended up going with a new 20S EVO. Problem solved.
 I know people say we spend too much money on our rides, but I can't hear them when I'm 1000 miles away!

Yes. Pair your free wire to phone 1, not second phone on the headset
