Replacement front turn signal bulb gl1800

Post by Boater »

I have a 2010 gl1800. I replaced my front amber turn signal lens with smoked lenses. One of the running light filaments burned out. Unfortunately replacing the bulbs has turned into an ordeal. Im in Canada & the only 7443 bulbs that I can get here are clear. Does anyone know if a 7444NA bulb or any other bulb will work. Shipping from the US is about $50. Any assistance is appreciated. Thanks

Check with a nappa store. They should be able to help.

Unfortunately to change to led bulbs the flasher would need to be replaced.

If you are spending the money on Smoke Lens why not go to the amber LEDs and Flasher. Or you can put a resister inline with the turn signal bulbs
It ain't the destination but the getting there. You are not lost until you run out of gas.

I replaced the lens a year ago. Its just that the one bulb filament burned out. Just didn't feel like going to the trouble of adding a flasher. That being said I would still have the same problem. The amber led is probably not available in Canada.
