Remote?

Post by ron203 »

Okay. Bought my '08 used. It's the basic model with no nav, CB unit, and no factory heated grips. My buddy thinks it ought to have a remote fob to control the locks on the bags and trunks. Yes? No? I don't really miss having one, just curious. Technology has changed a lot since '08., We use blue tooth communicators anyway, I stream music if I want, and navigate via Google Maps, so it's not a big deal. Like I said, just curious.
Thanks

Yes, it should have a fob for the trunk and bag locks and to pop the trunk open.

I really like my key fob for my '06, didn't think it would be a big deal but I really like it. I even found a rubber protector for it so it doesn't scratch the dash on the bike.

Yes the bike came with a remote, I am sure. I have one for my 2005 and don't ever use it. My key works just fine and one less thing to carry and keep batteries in.

It ain't the destination but the getting there. You are not lost until you run out of gas.
