Klock Werks - GL1800
Hi everyone
I am looking for a replacement windshield for my 08 GL1800. I really like recurve’s. I have a Freedomsheild recurve on my Harley-Davidson Electra Glide, it’s the best windshield I have ever used. Unfortunately they don’t make one for GoldWings.
Instead I am considering the Klock Werks and would like to know what owners thought about them
Be honest
Thanks
Rob

'02 GL1800 lives in Dawsonville, GA now.
My son is going to enjoy it for many years to come.

never used that one, only the Tulsa Tall and one that resembles the F4.
I had a recurve once also, but I sweated behind it so much, that I was unable to ride in temps above 85*
After trying 3 and not liking any of them, I settled for the MADSTAD and I have never regretted it.
it is fully adjustable for height, and tilt forward/backwards
you can make the airstream go over the top of your head, or hit you in the chest for cooling.

Re: Klock Werks - GL1800
Update: I went ahead and purchased a MadStad directly from their website. I took advantage of a discount that was being offered. The windshield arrived a few days ago and I installed it yesterday. I do need to test ride it this week but I don’t see a problem as it is exactly what I was looking for from a height adjustment standpoint.
Thanks for your suggestion. All the other reviews and videos are very positive as well.

How is the new shield? How is the airflow? Can you compare it to the factory shield?

Just watched it. Thanks!
I'm in Phoenix and ride through the summer so heat management can be an issue. Does the Madstad allow you to select an angle where the shield will provide MORE airflow onto your torso?

That's a beautiful windshield Superg. I like the color of your bike as well.

You can adjust the MadStad to allow more airflow to come up from under the windshield, however I am not sure of how much will actually flow. I didn't really feel that much wind on my torso when riding, but I also didn't test every angle scenario.two_wheeled wrote: ↑Mon Jan 31, 2022 6:27 pm Just watched it. Thanks!

One guy suggested taking off the Dragon Wings which I suspect may allow for more wind on the torso. My (new to me) Wing came with the Dragon Wings and I was thinking about taking them off anyway.
