Depends on what your actual problem is. Either you have the skills to diagnose and repair or you don't. I seem to recall a few folks have fixed an output driver, but nothing in the logic. I'm pretty sure it is mostly old skool analog not a digital map system, so not a lot of info out there. Few techs are any good with analog anymore. What error codes are you getting?

I know the GL1500 ECU is serviceable, but I think the 1800 ECU is potted with epoxy and you won't be able to access the circuit board. Sadly, it's a throw-away part.

This is correct. There's no way to service the GL1800 ECU.

Then I am in a very annoying situation with this GL19800

Have no idea whether is it an ECU problem or a sensor wire problem
So far no faulty sensor has found neither been able to sort this "no idling" condition
On the other hand, there is no way to check ECU working properly other than the elimination process (for a no-serviceable ECU that is way expensive)

Based on my previous experience with Honda motorcycles I can not recall any other model with this level of problematic system

Now I real help to define whether this ECU is faulty or not priobeforeting in the trash bin 500+ USD on a second hand no reliable replacement ECU

Is it there any technician that may guide me step by step in the diagnostic of this Gl1800? I will pay for beers

Or, is there any aftermarket management unit that can be adapted or pinned out for the GL1800?

Thanks all you guys in advance, just a little frustrated with the results and the vane illusion to have a decent running Goldwing

There are some basic tests that while they won't verify a good ECU, that can tell you it is bad. You mentioned it is not giving any codes. So give it something that it should trigger a code. If it doesn't detect that, it has at least one problem. See your other topic for other tests you can run. Start with the basics.
Yes you could convert it to a MicroSquirt, but you would spend more time and money that way. And you would still need to verify that all the basics are in good order, first.

Have you tried an ECU reset ?

I think yes
ECU has been disconnected for more than 24 hours before reassembly
