06 Trunk tail light

Post by joeincalif »

When I bought my 06 about 3 months 1 of the tail lights (inside one on the right side) was out. out of sight out of mind, I kept forgetting to change it. Well finally yesterday I got it done. What a pain to get the socket out of the tail light assembly. Honda could give us a couple more inches of wire, that would have helped a lot.

The trunk bulbs can be a challenge, but doable. Hopefully you replaced the one on the other side too. QC standards on OEM bulbs often means that their life span, from bulb to bulb, is similar. Aftermarket bulbs are usually completely different.

I always put a thin layer of grease on the o ring to make installation and future removal easier
It's not what you buy, it's what you build.
