Heated seat wiring

Post by Madmudder »

Hello all,

I purchased a set of heated seat elements to install on my seat but the connectors are way to big for me to feel comfortable drilling large holes in my seat pan so I cut them off. Can anyone help with a wiring diagram so I can connect the front & rear elements to work with factory wiring? I have a fifty fifty chance of getting it correct but because I plan to solder & heat shrink it all I prefer to get it correct the first time. Voltage reading remain the same on or off so I am assuming the wiring is done in series providing a load on the circuit. Photos provided to help.
Thank you in advance for any assistance.

For the future, those type of connectors are made to come apart so you can feed the loose wires through small holes then put them back together.
