brake lights stay on

Post by bfuller9999 »

My brake lights stay on continuously. Change relay with no difference. I hear all the switch click (brake, clutch, foot brake). Don't know what else to check.

Have you checked the adjustment of the brake light switch assembly at the rear brake master cylinder?

You need to test the switches. A click doesn't mean much and there is more than a single switch on each control.

Find the two switches. Unplug then one at a time and see what happens.

If the front brake lever is not pushing on the switch, you're brake lights will stay one. Possibly your front levers need removed, cleaned, lubed, and inspected. Do you have OEM levers ???
