Bypassing Navigation startup and entry
I've seen a couple of youtube videos where the person has some how managed to bypass the need for the bike to be in neutral and stationary to be allowed to press the enter button to load the Goldwings navigation system, they simply start their bike and it automatically boots up and onto the map. I've looked everywhere for more information on how to do this with nothing to be found. Any advice and or links appreciated....

You could run a wire from the speed signal interrupt to a switch and that would allow you to press buttons manually.
I like my arduinos so I am like a kid playing with leggo. I built a system with an arduino uno.
More info on it here.
https://scienceman.com/dm/pages/Autoenter.html
Note*
The web page shows the location of the white wire with the black tracer that feeds just the GPS on my 2017, but the location may be different on a 2010.
The only changes I have made are changing the switch to a 3 position [on / off / on] - Centre is off. Bottom 'on' interrupts speed signal to GPS. Top 'on' will run the autoenter sequence.
There is of course new code for that change but if you want it I can send it to you.
I also 3D printed a box for the arduino to sit in.
I now have 4 arduinos on my Goldwing and many more around the house and shop.

I believe there was a couple of different ways around that depends on the year of your bike.
It's not what you buy, it's what you build.
