I have searched the forum and only found old links that no longer work on this subject. Could anyone please help me with which wires I need to unplug or solder together to disable the factory TPMS on my 2010 Honda Goldwing NAVI? My TPMS light stays on, and last year I replaced both tires; at the same time, I took the sensor off, put new batteries in them, and put them back on with new valve stems, seals, etc...I have a reset tool and reset the TPMS for both tires...the rear tire works fine the front one does not (I went through the jumper procedure to determine which TPMS was not functioning properly).
I have spoken to several dealers in Virginia and North Carolina over the past two years of dealing with this issue...all of them claim that the sensors are on national back order without a ship date available. I called and spoke at length with American Honda Motor, including submitting a case on the issue, so they are supposed to follow up.
Honda has continued to claim I should speak to the dealer?? (and the dealer says to call Honda)...about Honda's national back order issue?? I am rather disappointed in Honda on this issue (I love my Honda and have ridden Hondas for over 45 years)...TPMS is a SAFTEY system that is integrated into the electrical system of the bike, features such as cruise control with NOT work when you have a TPMS light on...and my local inspection station here outside of Raleigh, NC, claims that they can fail my bike for inspection because a warning light is on.
I am officially tired of wasting time, money, and effort on an issue that is clearly a Honda issue that they refuse to address...I am looking at aftermarket TPMS devices. However, I need help DISABLING my factor TPMS, so my bike (cruise control, etc.) will function properly.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

There's also a plug that a trike mfg created to do this, but this is pretty bullet-proof.

Re: How do I disable factory TPMS?
It is very easy to do. When my trike conversion was done the Champion manual shows which two wires you will need to jump together.
The tpms module is accessible behind the right shelter pocket.
Here is a diagram from my manual.

When junk yards are selling OEM TPMS sensors for $400 or more...you know there's a problem.

I just installed my last new set about a month. As I was, I was thinking that they might be last new set in the world.

Re: How do I disable factory TPMS?
Look, whatever reason Honda used the French made LDL sensors was obviously not thinking right *or* this was the *only* TPMS suitable for motorcycle use back in 2009.
The company that developed it won the first prize in the Inn’Ovations Contest in 2009 (for its tire pressure monitoring system for trucks) and the Deloitte Fast 50 Award in 2011.
Yet, here we are 14 years later, and full support for that device seems to have faded away.
Great idea; poor implementation.
