Ever since I’ve had a goldwing I had corded info, cab, radio, Sirius and intercom.
We had 3 subscriptions and since only ride in better weather I dropped the bike. We have since gone Bluetooth and want to get Xmas radio again. What I’m trying to find out is if my Bluetooth helmets can be synced to Siriusxm radio. They have a Bluetooth cradle for the radio. I chatted with Sirius yesterday, Thursday, and they were no help. We have Dow-5 v1.0.2 sena bluetooth helmets. Does anyone know if they will sync together with out a bunch of electrical jumbo jumbo?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: Siriusxm bluetooth
Since you have a XM radio with Bluetooth, you should be able to connect that to the headset without affecting the intercom function. Depending on headset, may be able to also connect a GPS and/or a phone all at the same time.
Do you have a SMART phone? You can download the Sirius APP and play thru your phone without a XM receiver (will use battery and data) but will also play REVER/GPS/WAZE/traffic in background and allow phone calls.
Are you connecting the bike to the headset at all? There are a few ways to use the Honda system with a BT headset if you want to stay that route. You can even use with the CB. If you replace the cord with a SENA Freewire and headset, not only can you use the Honda system, just like before, but Freewire has a plug in audio input and headset could connect to phone and receive an additional audio source.

Re: Siriusxm bluetooth
Probably. Information provided below might be incomplete for a first-pass analysis...
Those are *not* technical people on the other end of that phone line - those are sales people. You will probably have to do the heavy-lifting on that end.
Okay - you have DWO-5 Bluetooth Helmet Headset (which is why I had trouble finding it...) and it's is equivalent to Sena SMH5 functionality.
That *might* be a problem. Did you implement a Sena Freewire onto you trike? Zero, one or two of them? Do you ride two-up?
Sadly, the direct answer to your question is 'maybe'. There are *so* many combinations and permutations that it's a challenge to try and sort this out on-line.
Do you have a Cycle Gear store near you? If we can't sort you out this way, that might be the way you'll get sorted out with the Bluetooth headsets.

Re: Siriusxm bluetooth
Thank you for all the replies. The helmet we have can be synced to each other and one more. My phone and gps are synced also. The Sirius app will only play one station and have to back out to go to a different one. Right now I’m using sound hound from my iPhone but if it gets interrupted by phone call or intercom the phone shuts off and have to start over, log in and select sound hound and at hiway speeds it’s a little difficult. I have a cycle gear near me in tinley park in Chicago, that’s where I got the helmets. He suggested not getting free wire for what I need it would be an unnecessary expense for just basically the CB. When weather turns better I need to go up there for new clear face shields and will talk to them then.
You’re right about them at Sirius as just phone answers. If not on a paper in front of them they put you on hold to ask someone else that doesn’t know answer either. I have a Bestbuy close by that has the Bluetooth cradles I will ask them also if they know if I can do it.
Again thanks everybody for the replies. Gives me hope itcan be done.

In a nut-shell, the dilemma is that the Bluetooth on your helmet isn't as sophisticated as some that are available, and that's the reason why you have the issues you do. You are going to need to determine which of your sound sources are primary, and which are secondary.m2102 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 17, 2023 11:17 am Thank you for all the replies. This tends to be the issue that many that get into Bluetooth communications runs into - the lower dollar units many times isn't really what works best for any given situation. That changes the moment you decide to add another component (like your Sirius/XM radio) to the equation.
The recommended helmet headset that *might* get you where you want to be would probably be the Sena 20S or maybe the 30K

Re: Siriusxm bluetooth
Thanks for the feed back. The only thing I’d be using Bluetooth for is siriusxm and my helmets. I can have three connected to the helmets.

Re: Siriusxm bluetooth
Right. Phone is one, GPS is two, intercom is three and SXM radio is...four.
Luck to you in your quest!
