Yes I did because I was trying to trouble shoot the heated seat n grip issue. I also previously had a harness issue in the rear left side of inside rear top trunk ( due to wear and the hinge cut some of the wires) so I had to re connect various color coded wires with splices.

If they weren't working before you took the seat off then its not the plug disconnected under the seat. If you dont have a blown fuse Id say
a busted wire somewhere. Had a broken left grip myself years ago but dont recall if both seat and remaining grip stopped working because of it.
My left grip failed as the grip had slightly rotated and put tension on the wire separating it
Who knows maybe you have the same issue?

P.S Ive had to fix my "trunk hinge" wires a couple times myself over the years.. ;)

No blown fuses. I’ll look close at grips. Ok Thks for the suggestion. I’ll continue to try to trouble shoot this problem. Glad the weather is warming up.

Here's the easiest way to issolate weather if it's a grip or seat issue. Be sure to follow the step as they are wrote. The below can all be done in one ride or 3 seporate ones.

Turn all heat switches (grips, rider, and passenger seat) to the off position. Turn ignition switch to on position, start Wing, turn grips on, and go for at least a 30 min ride. If the grips turned off, make a mental note of approx. how long they were on. If after 30 mins, and if the grips continued to work, your issue is probably not in the grip circute. To end that test, turn the grips off.

Next, on a cold day, be sure all heated switches are off. Start the Wing, turn the rider seat on, and go for a 1 hour ride and do the same paying attension to if the seat quits heating and approx. how long it heated for. To end that test, turn the seat off.

Next with a passenger, and on a cold day, make sure all heated switches are off, start the Wing, turn the passenger heat switch on, go for a 1 hour ride, and report back the results.

You and me both bro. Its been a bit of a wild winter out here!

Took this for you hope it helps.
Maybe you've had the top shelter off recently? Another weird thing I noticed many years ago the plugs for the grips
are identical and if swapped the grips do not work. But cant remember if the seat also failed??
Once I figured out my mistake applied black tape on either side of one plug that way they cant possibly be switched.
