Dipstick issue
Is it normal for the dipstick being impossible to remove when the engine is warm? I’ve changed the oil in the past and didn’t have any issue getting the dipstick out but today after a short ride decided to get the oil change done. Had to use pliers to move the darn thing, have a new one on order. Has anyone else had this problem?

Re: Dipstick issue
This can happen when the O-ring gets old and shrinks leading to overtightening.

Yes it is common. It's cause from expansion when hot.Bel air wrote: ↑Thu May 04, 2023 9:18 pm Is it normal for the dipstick being impossible to remove when the engine is warm?
