Help !!!!!!

I was out riding and out of no where when I hit the front brakes both the signal lamps on the dash lit up, didn’t, think anything of it but I then realized I had no brake lights!! And no running lights also all the fuses are good all the rear lights were very dim . So I started checking the wiring in the rear of the bike the strange thing is when I disconnected certain connections the light will glow but plugging them back lights went out.
Driving my self crazy any help would be greatly appreciate. I really can’t afford to take it to a stealer .

Thx Bob

Sounds like a bad ground. Also check the connectors for melted plastic. There are a few post here about that. Do you have any aftermarket lights?
