Any one have info on replacing screen more dead spots appearing lately

Be sure to read all the posts about doing this both here and on goldwingfacts. Some of the replacement screens are wired differently and will fry your nav system if you don't modify the connection. I seem to recall the part number is one number off. If you are comfortable with electronics repair fine. If not, you would probably be better off paying for the genuine Honda part.

Fortunanly, the screens are still available form Honda. Unfortunanly, they are expensive. Some have had luck buying knockoffs from eBay, while others have done the same only to find out that the knockoff fried the NAVI unit in the trunk.

The standard version, or the Nav version?
