Intermittent Turn Signals
Hello, A few years ago my turn signals quit flashing. I wired in an automotive flasher as described in another post and then a couple of months later, the automatic cancelling quit working. No big deal. Yesterday, the turn signals quit half way to work. They started working again in the evening on the way home. Today, they quit working about the same place but now they are not working at all. What should I be looking for? Thanks for any help on this!

Re: Intermittent Turn Signals
This could be the turn signal switch’s contacts being dirty. It could be a bad connection at the top of the steering stem in the little green connector or a bad connection under the right fairing pocket where all the wires for that system pass through the white frame connectors. There’s always the chance that the flasher is trying to go bad. Do the hazards work reliably? If so, it’s not the flasher. Did you bypass the cancel unit when you installed the car flasher? If not, the car flasher may be too much for the cancel unit to trigger reliably.
