ABS light

Post by captdecker »

Checking if someone could give me a heads up on where to look.
The ABS light is flashing rapidly no pattern to count (for code) or a repeat, just a rapid flashing.
On a 2006.
Any thought as were to look?

Thanks
Verne

You need to retrieve the stored codes.

It gives NO code's, just rapidly flashing. Even after reset.

Rapidly flashing means it has a stored code. Follow the instructions to get the codes out, or take it to the dealer. Remember you only have a three second window to get the fuse in to display the codes. If you miss it, you have to start over.

I feel sorry for you. It took me years to figure out my issue. In my case, my ABS light would intermittantly flash. Which means that at that moment it's unlikely that I have tools and time to pull over to diagnose it. When I did have time to diagnose it, the light might have quit. Or when it was acting up, and when trying to diagnose it, the symptom would disappear. Sometimes the light would stay off for 6 months, the start again. It might have taken 7+ years, and various attempts, to figure out my issue.
