2016 Goldwing with a Champion Daytona 2+2 sidecar

Post by cms062407 »

Hello, new member here. I am about to purchase a 2016 Goldwing with a Champion Daytona 2+2 sidecar. I have never owned a goldwing (always been my dream bike) nor have I ever owned a sidecar (also a dream to own).

Does anyone else own a Goldwing with a sidecar? What sort of special sidecar things should I be looking out for when purchasing a Goldwing with a sidecar?

Thank you!

Lets see if I can help.
First, where abouts are you located, the USCA (United Sidecar Association) has members all over and it is possible I can put you in contact with someone that might be willing to take a look at your new potential rig and help you make a good decision on the purchase. I would go to our site and ask all the questions you need to. https://sidecar.com/forum/ Plenty of knowledgeable people there ready to help.

GoldWingrGreg here from JustWings - GL1800 Specialty Service and Repair. You might want to know that Champion Side Car went out of business a few years ago. There is a trike dealer in AZ that carries on; however, getting parts for a Champion made product is challenging. Keep in mind that our experiance is reguarging GL1800 that had a Champion's trike kit installed. Basically, getting most parts has become so challenging that most repair shops won't work on them. Getting parts for their side-cars might be the same.
