Gl1800 2001, ECU compatability
I have an FI26, service tech swapped the right and left knock sensors and then checked the wire to the ECU. I have to find an ECU, the part number is 38770-MCA-671. I can find some other numbers on Ebay, there is one for 2003 Gl1800 but the part number is 38770-MCA-305. I am wondering if that would work?

From what I read '01 to '05 should interchange. Look up the "Zombie Fix" threads to see if you can overcome the FI26 error without replacing the ECU.

If you're installing a new ECM, it is part #12.wmadsen1 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 02, 2024 3:29 pm I have an FI26, service tech swapped the right and left knock sensors and then checked the wire to the ECU. Hello did you manage to sort this ? I’ve got same fault and I’ve purchased a US spec ecu with no hiss just trying to work out the wiring as some videos online do show it’s possible on other model Hondas with hiss would be very helpful if anyone has any knowledge on this cheers Dan
