For Sale: GL1000 Auxilliary Fuel Tanks NICE

Post by landisr »

Yes, I have a set. They are recent take-offs, in excellent condition, color matched to a '76 LTD. They come with plumbing, brackets, etc. The PO claimed they hold 1.5 gallons per side, but I can't say for sure. He had transferred the LTD side cover emblems to these, but he secured them with clear silicone glue instead of double sided tape. I was able to remove the emblems without damaging them or the paint, but the 'glue' needs to be removed. I have more pix available. Just PM me with your email address.

Asking $250/BO + shpg from the Phoenix area.

Ron

PS. They might possibly be adapted to other bikes.

PPS. Motorcycle NOT included. Just sayin'...
