GL1500 Goldwing Radio Upgrade

Post by JPochron »

I'm going with a different radio on my Goldwing and I'm selling the Radio and Radio cover it's mounted in. The Radio is a Jensen MA500 Marine Bluetooth Radio. It works really well and has a little wear on the Screen which you can't notice when the radio is on but looks a scuffed when off. The plastic most likely can be polished like they polish plastic headlights. I'm asking $175.00 plus shipping for the radio and radio cover or best offer plus shipping. Look at the attached pics if you have any questions let me know

A little it's not too bad. It does have a low battery alarm on in it if your battery gets low. Has a lot of features. I bought a Sena Savage helmet Bluetooth and it has an FM Radio built in with intercom. If you have any other questions let me know

I didn't use the radio "cover" for my new setup, , instead I used/produced the Unobtainium 2.1 which is a stereo Blank-off panel that bolts up to the same holes used for the OEM stereo. It allows you to put in a 21st century stereo with all the new bells and whistles.
Do a "search" for Unobtainium 2.1 on this site for more info, , ,or PM me and I'll get ya more info.

I still have the radio if that's what you're asking except I don't think I have the radio cover. You can always find a radio cover on eBay

Thanks

Hi Joe,
Yes, I was asking if the radio was still available. Let me know how to go about buying it. I'm new to this forum.

Thanks,

Thanks Joe,
I'll check on PayPal. I'm not sure I have one at the moment. My zip is 17522. I'll get back to you about PayPal.

Sure no problem the radio weighs 4lbs so the shipping is $20.00 and $175.00 for the radio. I’ll send you an invoice from PayPal shortly if you’re ok with the price

Thanks

Andy thanks again. I wrapped it in bubble wrap and had to cut the box down to keep the shipping cost where I told you. It's insured also. The tracking # 9405828206334335673452 and will dropped off at the post office tomorrow. I didn't use the stock speakers, I used motocycle speakers that mount to the handle bars or crash bars. I mounte the front on the fairing under the mirror and the back on the trunk under the armrest. You should be them in my profile pic. If you have any questions let me know

Thanks

Andy I used PayPal to ship the radio but had a feeling the rate charged was wrong so I just dropped it off at USPS and it was wrong. It was more than I told you so I had to have them correct it your new tracking number is #9505 5111 5518 1210 2890 27. So it's shipped

You can see the speakers in the attached pic. The rear are mounted next to the antenna on the trunk and the front behind the wind deflector on the fairing
