I had hoped that the claims of the white gauges being terrible were either exaggerated or wouldn't be as big a deal for me...turns out they are.
I'm looking to replace the white gauges in my dash with black ones. I believe any gauges from 97-00 will work. If you have a set or know where I could look, please let me know.
God bless,
~Mark

Any other year model from '92 to '96 will work just fine.
they are all the same, except for that stupid white face plate.
I found some black face plates on eBay a few years back

To Az1800: Very nice of you to share these Ebay items. However...
To the OP: Please note that the first item above is from an Interstate model so it may or may not be able to accommodate your Reverse indicator. Might be best to compare part numbers. The second piece appears to have the beginning of the dreaded LCD failure.
Just saying. Good luck, though.
Happy Easter Everyone.

I noticed both of those issues, but can't I simply remove the black faces and swap them with the white ones on my dash, so that everything else stays the same? (and working)
God bless,

I was able to buy just the face plate at the time,
Now that you actually own the bike, I will look thru my stuff and see if I can find it.
the Speedo face plate was the only one that I managed to snag at the time.
back later

Wx is a bit too cold to get out in the shop right now, cloudy and makes the interior dark, hard to see.
In answering another problem on the LCD panel itself, it reminded me that this vendor has replacement parts.
You might ring them up and ask about the Black faceplates?
