Locking Mechanism Cover

Post by kf2ti606 »

I recently purchased a 2009 Wing and noticed that the mechanism to latch and unlock the travel/tail trunk is exposed (no protective cover) I am looking to buy this part (with the 3 necessary screws) or if someone knows the part number, as the schematics are a tad unclear on this particular part

Thank you

Happy riding on the freeway..already in progress Antelope Freeway, one quarter mile

Are you talking about item # 25 in the diagram below?

If this is what is missing, then item #25 is what you need. Lord only knows why it is missing. There should not have been a reason to remove it unless the locks were not working. There should be four screws holding it in place.
