wTB GL1200l Rectifier

Just picked up a 1985 GL1200L and i need a new rectifier. Any one got a good one for a good price?

Welcome. Is this for a Limited Edition? If you're replacing the RR need one to handle the 500 watt stator. Lots of good low cost ones out there, even from offshore. May have a good replacement for you at a reasonable price.

This is the RR I was mentioning. It is a Shindengen FH009AA off a 2010 Triumph Rocket III. The owner and I changed it out in 2018 for a series RR - SH847. He has since sold the Rocket. This is a good RR and was working fine, just wanted to upgrade. The dimensions are L/W/D - 10X9X3 cm. Comes with wiring for hookup. The wiring came with the series RR from Roadster Cycle. We did not have to use it because the SH847 was a plug and play unit for the Rocket. Here are pics of the unit:








Less than 35,000 Kms on the bike at the time.
