GL1200 "Alternartor Mod" stuff

Post by CrystalPistol »

I used to have a GL-1200, I considered a home made alternator conversion and in preparation, I acquired some items. I have disposed of the alternator and extra cooling fan I had, but I still have and do not need these items. Buyer pays shipping too, if interested, contact me via PM here at this site.

One set of un-altered GL-1200 Timing belt covers intended to be used if I did my alternator mod involving cutting a hole for crank pulley addition. $20 + shipping

One pair of alloy 3 rib serpentine belt pulleys I intended to use if did PB Mod, one is 1.825" OD, 0.670" ID for Alt, other is 2.875" OD, 0.750" ID for crank pulley, they both will need adapting to shafts (machinist). They are nicely machined "race car" parts, anodized aluminum. $20 + shipping get's both (less than I paid each). Three rib serpentine belts are very thin compared to V belts, are available in the short lengths, and curve around small pulleys well.
