GL1000 LTD for sale

I have a '76 LTD for sale. I wanted to post it here before putting it on Craigslist. I wouldn't call it a barn find as much as just a neglected bike. I pretty much followed Randakk's method for starting a bike that had been sitting a long time. I replaced what needed to be replaced, but not much more. It would make a good rat bike, or has the 'patina' look that is popular now. I do not know if the odometer is correct or has turned over. I didn't see excessive wear in the rear splines or anywhere else, so I wouldn't be surprised either way.

The good: New belts, petcock kit, brake pads, carbs rebuilt, airbox gasket, headlight rim, Randakk kit to fix broken float post, carbs are correct series for LTD, new tires, new brake hoses. I replaced the main fuse, as it was original and beyond repair, the rest of the electrical seems ok. I have not synced the carbs or test driven, due to snow, but it runs and idles well fresh from the rebuild. If I can get it out and ride it I will, and do a sync after that.

The bad: Missing front turn signals, rear pegs, plug wire stays, 1 plug wire boot, it will need a seat. There are holes in the shelter cover, probably for a rack. The shelter lock is worn and will need replacing. One side cover is missing a tab.

I'm in Lincoln, NE. I'd like to get it out of my garage. Asking $750. Feel free to make me an offer.
