I hate buying two tires yet alone three. In the back of my mind I'm thinking of my golden years and wonder if that's the route I would go or a trike.

I am friends with the owner of Tilting Motor Works (we are both in the "motorcycle" business. He tells me owners have reported 25k miles on the front tires. So it is likely that you will only replace 2 at a time

If I were to get a "trike", this would be it. Stability of a trike, but still get the "lean" of a 2 wheel bike to an extent.
