WANTED - 1500 Alternator

Post by FM-USA »

WANTED - 1500 Alternator.
If it needs brushes or rear bearing, that's fine it's for my backup stock. Needs to be whole & working.
Prefer lowest possible miles but really not that picky. Lowest cost is the main thing.

I'll ride 99 miles 1-way from Lake Geneva, Wi. to pickup. NO WAY will I go into SHOT`CAGO .. (chicago)
Thanks

I have a Lactrical that wasn't on too long before it started acting up.I replaced it with a reman.I don'y know what was wrong other than at the end of a 25 mile ride my voltage would be in the low 12v high 11v range.Yours for the cost of shipping.

I too have an Lactrical 90a Alt that took a dump in mere weeks. Not even a coat of dust on it!!!
My issue is I put it on after all the other upgrades and it went past the warranty. Emailed the seller, in essence he said 'take it to a repair shop'... in other words, 'F-U, it's past the warranty'. Ya know, any reputable seller would bend a little, I always have in my retail settings.
If it sounds like I'm getting a little, ummm... tart, sorry, it's just the KRAP that's going an all over our country.

Take your alternator to an automobile electrical repair shop. I did, and he had the new one the next day. At a cost less than half what other places wanted. Four years later it still works great!
