I’ve got a black GL1000 that I’d like to color change. If anyone is parting out a red/blue-green/yellow bike, I’d be interested in buying the color parts. Would like decent condition, but not expecting perfect. Let me know.

Hello from Colorado & Happy New Year!

I have a complete set of faux tank sides and pieces from my 76 gl1000 and one additional RH tank side from I think a 77 (originally red but poorly rattle can painted black) I bought for the badge. The matched set all came off my 76 when I was restoring it. I found a tank set that was cosmetically in better shape so put those on her. These are in good shape physically, but you can see the RH side and the glove box cover got the color roached. I think at one point there was a brake fluid leak/spill that wasn't cleaned quickly and then poor outside storage.

If you want them so you can respray them or whatever then great. They're just sitting on my shelf. Yours if you want them.

Glad he's in Westminster and not further northwest in Superior/Louisville.
I live up in Granby, about 80 miles to the west of your buddy, just on the west side of the Continental Divide. We could figure out how to meet up or I can get a shipping quote.
