hand surgery and sitting out this riding season

Good evening one and all. I hope everyone had a safe fun riding season this year. As for me, I don't think I'll be able to ride anymore, so even though my lovely 86 Aspy is sitting and not being ridden, it's not fair to see it sit when it can be used by someone else. Anyone that's been following my posts knows what I've done to this bike just by viewing the photos I've posted. My Dr and my PT said it will be at LEAST another year until my hand is good enough to ride again, So, IF anyone is interested in purchasing it, I have a LOT of spare parts and all the parts that still need to be reinstalled on her. Some wiring needs to be finished, IE: rear speakers, tail/stop lights, lights on the lower front air scoop, and the new high dbl horns that I've attached to the lower fairing covers just above the corning lights, front fender needs to be repainted, which I will GIVE YOU $450 worth of PAINTING SUPPLIES, pinstripes, emblems, and badges that needs to be put back on her.

I have over $5,000 into this bike INCLUDING another engine from an 85 CFI LTD. The bike has 86,000 but the engine has only 71,000 miles on it and I'm willing to let it go for only $1,000.00 so I don't have to look at it is sitting under a cover on my covered front foyer every time I step out of my house.

If anyone is interested, please let me know. If you want, you can view everything I've done to this bike before this riding season started. Look for "86 Aspy engine replacement" in one of the GL1200 postings.

Thank you all. It's been a pleasure to get to know each and every one of you great people.

Stuart.
