Wanted - Turn Signal Switch

Post by MaltaBiker »

My turn signal switch has stopped working (no push to cancel) which was OK for a while, I lived with it but now even manually sliding it back to the middle doesn't work as it has lost all 'feel' so you just end up putting the other turn signal on and then try to put it back and the other one comes on etc., etc. Bit of a safety issue for me, so I am looking for a replacement switch new or used. Looked in the usual places but failed to find one. I have a 1991 SE UK Spec if that makes a difference to switch, I am not sure.

I have seen the comments and videos on people opening the switch and replacing the spring etc., but I do not feel clever nor confident to do this. A combination of clumsiness and massive hands/fingers does not lend itself to 'delicate work'

I am EU based and happy to pay shipping from where ever there may be a part.

Thanks for your time everyone

if you can get a part number form a dealer in the UK I can see if it's the same here in the states and I may have one for you, I just got a 89 in to part out and the turn signal switch is good.

Brilliant, thank you. I think the part number is 35210MW5711

I found it here https://www.cmsnl.com/honda-gl1500se-go ... 210mw5711/

On the weekend I took the switch apart and replaced the spring with a similar one but the switch still does not work.
