This is the first post that popped up when I search gl1500 timing belts. I have a 96 gl1500, I'm getting ready to try the timing belts. I looked at your post, bike looks good, and looking at the background, I thought that looked like familiar terrain, honestly looks like my neighborhood. Then I see your in Cincinnati. So if you haven't sold the bike yet, and I screw up the timing belt, then at least I have this as a back up option.
