Hello all.

Hey everybody,

I just purchased a project bike, an '82 GoldWing GL1100I. The previous owner posted here (One of the PO's threads), so I figure I'd set up an account, introduce myself, and get to know the folks on the board.

A little history: This is my first bike, but I've done a small amount of engine maintenance on my '01 Ford Focus and, before that, my '86 Chevy Nova (basically a Toyota Corolla). Getting actually inside the engine is all new to me. I'll try to do through research before asking questions here, but I probably will ask some "RTFM" or just plain stupid questions. I apologize in advance for this.

Anyways, I've been lurking both here and at the goldwingfacts.com forums, and I've already gotten a lot of tips on things to look at to get my bike running.

Hey welcome Zimage, I would suggest reading every post here, it's rich and full of really good information, ideas and fixes..Tricks too..I like those..Different methods of doing things ..If you or anyone else doesn't know about something, just ask..It's better to ask than screw something up by not understanding...Some guy's will fly thru the information leaving you still unsure, just ask again..
