Any help out there? Gear position switch OK (neutral and OD lites good), all brake/clutch micro switches cleaned and functional. Orange Cruise light comes on, but not the green engaged light nor actual engagement. I ran the full plug wring out previously, re-assembled every thing and it worked. I don't know what it was that I fixed that time. I've had the shelter off again to repair the right radiator and after re-assembly, cruise no longer works.

Check out the clutch and brake lever bushings, if worn enough they will not contact the switches fully. The switch may be clean and functional but not being pushed. The levers should have little to no play up and down, and the clutch lever bushing wears out many times faster. Push them forward and test cruise, if that works, you can replace the bushing with a $19 kit in about 15 minutes. I'd look to confirm the wire harness from the right handlebar switch pod is fully connected since you likely worked in that vicinity. Also if the right pod switches (Accel/Decel) are dirty then the cruise may not be getting the set cruise signal at all.

Thanks. I'll have another look at that. I did have a poor connection to the right pod previously.
