I cooked my reserve lighting unit. I do not have a battery, so I hooked an auxiliary power unit, it cooked the reserve power unit. Why did this happen and I have read it is best to jump this unit. I am not sure how to exactly please help. And should I replace it? Please help
Thanks
Bobby

Re: Reserve lighting unit
\They are available on Ebay cheap. Also research the work around, many just disable them.

Re: Reserve lighting unit
The reserve lighting unit is likely to fail due age. You should bypass and not replace them. A replacement will fail soon always. Bypass is easy with three wires. Google it.
