Wish I could join you. I have family history in Hastings, and at Stamford Bridge. Just trivia, but did you know that the location of the Battle of Hastings was really called 'Battle'? The Battle of Battle was too silly to contemplate, so they chose Hastings as an alternative. Or maybe this is an Urban Legend. Hmmmm.

Actually your correct the battle was in battle. No idea why someone decided on Hastings

I do wish I was in the UK and could make that ride. It was several years ago but I had the opportunity to visit the Ace Café. And the huge group of bikes that showed up that day. Several that are not sold in the US were also there.

It was quite an wonderful day. If you guys did not ride on the wrong side of the road it would all be okay. We got to ride up to Scotland and over to Barrow in Furness. I also really enjoyed the roundabouts, but going to the Café was definitely a big highlight of the trip.
