C100 cub timing chain
I have looked but can not find any info for setting the cam chain tension on a 1966 C100 Cub. Anyone know the procedure for sure or a sight that does? THANKS!!

This is what google found for me on this page: https://www.carlsalter.com/Honda-C50-C7 ... nance.html
Cam Chain
1. Start the engine and let it idle. If you have just rebuilt the engine then let it do so for at least 10 minutes to make sure the oil system is back to normal.
2. Loosen the 8mm locknut, located just under the generator cover, and slacken the tensioner adjusting screw about 1/2 of a turn. The cam tensioner should now adjust itself and any cam chain noise die away.
3. If the cam chain remains noisy, remove the 14mm sealing bolt (on the underside of the transmission crank cases, near adjusting screw). Slowly tighten the second tension adjusting screw, which is located under this sealing bolt, until the chain is no longer noisy. Refit the 14mm sealing bolt.
4. Tighten the first tension adjusting screw and tighten the locknut.

THANK YOU CYBERLON!!!! This is what I was looking for and did not find. Added to my favorites list for future reference too. This is by far the best forum I have been on, no B.S., smart-asses or trolls, just really good people who want to help out.
